NowSmart Audio Recorder saves recordings directly to files and needs a file name before it starts. To record as WAV, OGG, FLAC, or MP3, give the file name the matching extension: .wav, .ogg, .flac, or .mp3.

Click Add/New to add or open an audio file.

Type a file name with the extension you want.

If you use Auto Name, choose the file extension in the Auto Name settings. Click Options.

Then go to the Files tab and select the extension.
